About the Event
Learning Objectives:
▶ Recognize the ability and effectiveness of ultraviolet light to reduce pathogens on surfaces and in air and water.
▶ Describe how pathogen reduction with a UV light source is calculated differently than illumination with a visible light source. ▶ Distinguish various ultraviolet wavelengths for use in occupied or unoccupied spaces and discuss how these technologies may be deployed for the least design-disruptive and most cost-effective manner.
▶ Identify the potential impacts of misapplied ultraviolet lighting.
